The church will be open each day from Wednesday, 2nd to Saturday, 5th September, 10am – 4pm, for preparation of the well dressing. Everyone is invited to come along and do some petal
ing. It is taking place in the Lady Chapel at the east end of the church. On Saturday, 5th we won’t be holding a coffee morning as refreshments are being served on Sunday afternoon at the Horticultural Show instead.
The well dressing will be dedicated at the 10.30am Eucharist Service on Sunday 6th September. The theme for this year is Harvest.

The show will be held after the Patronal Festival on Sunday, 6th September 2.00 – 5.00pm. There will be exhibits for fruit, vegetables, flowers, preserves and baking. For further information regarding the competition, including details about entry categories, please refer to the entry form available online here. 
Entries are welcome from people who live, work, visit, volunteer or have a connection with Walkley. There are 5 main ‘Categories’ and a Junior section.
Refreshments will be on sale to support the church and there will also be stalls and activities for all ages. All profits go to S6 Food Bank.
